Xapa World Privacy Policy

Your Personal Information belongs to you. We do not sell your Personal Information or disclose it in any identifiable way with third parties. You have control over what, if any, aspects of your profile or preferences are made available to other users of Xapa, either as yourself or under a profile name which is unidentifiable to anyone other than you and Xapa.

You can change your privacy selections for each social group or individual you interact with inside the Application. We mirror the real world, not social media platforms. If you want to explore issues around insomnia, for example, no one needs to know about it, or as one example, you can choose that family or selected friends know about it, but not your work group, bowling partners or any other social grouping.

Xapa uses the information you provide and choices you make within the Application to improve the service and customize/personalize the experience for you.

Xapa World, Inc. (“Xapa,” “our,” “us,” or “we”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the information of our Application visitors (“you”). We want you to understand how we collect and use information from our mobile application (the “Application”) and our related services (together with the Application, the “Services”) so you can interact with us with confidence. By using the Services, you accept and agree to the practices this Privacy Policy describes. If you do not agree to any of the terms in this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Services.

b. Usage Information: We collect information on how you interact with the game, including in-game activities, progress, preferences, and any in-app purchases you make.

d. Location Data: We may collect your approximate location based on your IP address or device’s GPS functionality, if enabled.

e. Social Media: If you choose to connect your game account to a third party social media platform other than the Application, we may collect information from your social media profile, such as your name, profile picture, and friend list.

Why We Collect Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the game and its features.
  • Personalize your gaming experience, including tailoring in-app content and providing targeted learning experiences.
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Analyze Usage Information to better understand player behavior and optimize game design.

How We Use Tracking Technologies

The Application uses various technologies and methods to collect data on user behavior, similar to how websites use cookies. The specific tools that Xapa may use are subject to change without notice at Xapa’s full discretion, but all of them will fall within these broad groupings:

  1. Device Identifiers: The Application may use unique device identifiers, such as Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or Google’s Advertising ID (GAID), to track user behavior and deliver personalized advertising. These identifiers are unique to each device and can be reset by the user.
  2. Local Storage: The Application can store data locally on the device using technologies like SQLite databases, Shared Preferences (Android), or NSUserDefaults (iOS). This data can be used to save user preferences, game progress, or other information that helps personalize the user experience.
  3. Analytics SDKs: The Application may integrate third-party analytics tools or software development kits (SDKs), such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Flurry, or Mixpanel, to collect and analyze user behavior data. These tools track in-app events, user interactions, and other metrics to help developers understand how users engage with the app and improve its features.
  4. Server-Side Tracking: The Application can also send data directly to servers, where it can be processed and stored. This method allows developers to collect more detailed information about user behavior and interactions within the app, while also centralizing data storage for easier analysis.
  5. Location Data: With user permission, the Application can access a device’s GPS or other location-based services to collect data about a user’s location. This information can be used to provide location-based features, targeted advertising, or analytics on user behavior in different geographic areas.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. You can always change your user preferences by reviewing your user account. If you do not wish to have your e-mail address/contact information used by Xapa to promote our own products or services, you can opt-out by clicking the unsubscribe link in the promotional email.

  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by us about the Application users is among the assets transferred;
